About our Classes

Boot Camp

Burn some major calories and work your entire body with a challenging combo of strength training and cardio intervals.  

Spinning

You set the resistance, your instructor sets the pace. Tap into the motivation of the group or just sit back and pedal at your own pace.

Fitness Boxing

A one-two punch of body weight exercises and boxing combinations to improve your cardiovascular fitness, strength, energy and quickness 

Chair Fitness

Chair Strength provides the support of a chair while strengthening your muscles using dumbbells. Chair yoga lets you stretch and flow without stressing your joints.

Yoga

Yoga Bliss connects a series poses with breath combining strength and flexibility, warming you up with a gentle flow before moving into a series of deep stretches.

Strength 

Mat Works combines yoga and Pilates to help you build a strong core. Power Pump uses dumbbells and barbells to tone and strengthen all of your muscle groups.

Cody Gillenwater

Experience and Education:

  • MS in Kinesiology-Biomechanics and Business
  • Competitive wrestler since age 4
  • National qualifier for UCM
  • Coaching at high school and collegiate level.

Cody devotes his time to helping others meet their fitness and wellness goals through personal training and teaching boxing fitness classes.


Fitness Philosophy: I strive to make everyday a learning experience. My programs teach dedication, determination, strength and perseverance, skills that my clients can take into their future, becoming the best version of themselves.

Lisa Butler

Lisa is the owner of Fit Chix KC, a health and fitness business in South Kansas City. She shares her wellness expertise as a freelance writer and public speaker. Her work has been published nationally and she is a regular contributor to local magazines including Her Life, Good Health KC, Kansas City Fitness, Prime, The Best Times and more.


Fitness Philosophy: I train, teach and inspires everyday people to live a lean lifestyle. Every "body" is different so I  programs to each individual.

Kylle Clemons

Originally from Arizona, Kylle started teaching aqua-aerobics while in high school, adding other class formats in college. From there she's worked in wellness at resorts and retirement communities, incorporating exercise, fitness and mindful movement into a variety of classes, programs and workshops. 


Fitness Philosophy: Movement can be medicine, helping overcome physical and mental hurdles, improving your quality of life. What a privilege it is to witness someone taking charge of their life and going from: “I can’t imagine ever doing ______” into “I’m so proud of myself because now I can_______!”

Micheal Taylor

Fitness Philosophy: I love legs! I have played basketball all my life and one key point that coaches over the years would always come back to is “once your legs go your mind goes.” In my classes I like to focus on the legs because they are the biggest muscle group on our bodies and if we work to maintain them then we will never lose our mental focus capabilities.
